Dear friends in Rotary,

I am really thrilled to serve as the Governor of one of the unique Rotary Districts with both urban & rural clubs and having special geographical features. We have beaches, hill stations, temples, palaces, universities, famous churches and mosques, and above all we have Rotarians with big hearts to respond to the call of the needy. I am really proud to lead such a wonderful district. Rotary today is 101-year-old organization. Over the last century, from time to time, depending on requirement and based on the experience of the clubs and districts after voluminous research, it has made several changes and formulated guidelines. All the changes have been incorporated by RI keeping in mind the fellowships and service projects with continuity from year to year and furtherance of Rotary. I am very much interested in implementing the latest guidelines of Rotary International to ensure that every club an Effective Rotary Club .

Dear Rotarians, our thrust areas during our year shall be Water Management, Literacy, Health and Hunger, Family of Rotary, Parent Insurance, Women Empowerment, School Support System, Career Orientation, Free Legal Camps and Polio Surgery Camps.

As told by President Bill Boyd we must identify real needs. Every Project of Rotary must be a partnership with those we wish to help. My request for all the clubs in the district to undertake projects in such a way that they should qualify for the Presidential Citation .The Presidential Citation is recognition of our commitment to Lead The Way for a better future.

Let us involve Family of Rotary in all our endeavors. I am eagerly looking forward to meet you all during the district meets, official visits and at the district conference.

Together, we 4000+ Rotarians of RI Dist 3180 will LEAD THE WAY to a brighter future through fellowship and Service .
